Explore the Training Data

We provide a set of simulated VLBI data corresponding to a variety of different telescope arrays and targets. Visibilities were generated by specifying a telescope array, date of observation, target location, channel frequency and bandwith, as well as a source image. These input properties and parameters are further explained here.

Select an array/target configuration from the drop-down below. For each array/target configuration we provide simulated data generated for each source image. Click on a source image type to view detailed plots and download the corresponding data. The visiblity and bispectrum data can be extracted from the corresponding OIFITS files in the downloaded data. We provide data generated from a series of simple calibration source images for you to verify that your algorithm is working properly. We also provide data from a variety of natural and celestial images to help you test the robustness of your algorithm to image content and complexity.
